Three Things Thursday. Sharing a confession, question, and a quote.
Confession: I walk through the isles of the fabric store, bouncing my fingertips across the soft bolts of various prints and shades. Then something speaks to me, it calls my name, it says: I am the wind, sew me to the air. I am a butterfly, sew me to fluttering wings. I am a cupcake, I need some cherries! My eyes widen, my tummy tickles, I pull out the bolt of fabric and run my hands run over the flat cotton like a dog trainer praising her pet. I let it know that I have heard the story it wants to tell.
I LOVE SEWING. This isn’t exactly a confession because I’ve talked about it before.
I LOVE MAKING APRONS! I love fabric and putting different prints together and making something flirty and cute and funky people can wear So. Much. Fun!
Quote: “The main thing is to be moved, to love, to hope, to tremble, to live.” ~Auguste Rodin
Question: What do you do that moves you, makes you hope and love and tremble?
